EEOC Compliance
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) oversees that laws relating to equal employment are protected. EEOC Compliance Training is an educative tool to teach employees and employers about how to cooperate with the protective laws. These laws protect against the discrimination of:
- Age
- Disability
- Equal Compensation
- National Origin
- Pregnancy
- Race
- Religion
- Retaliation
- Sex
- Sexual Harassment
Most companies try to set a higher standard of operation for their employees and employers than just abiding by these protective laws. Companies do this to reduce the chances of very costly and drawn-out lawsuits.
At Spring Institute, we help raise this standard through our EEOC Compliance Training, which is designed to educate employees and employers on respect and moral in the workplace.
The main purpose of our training is to develop a higher standard of ethics and compliance with the protective laws to diminish the chance of a lawsuit and help build a foundation for respect and moral within the workplace.
Generations in the Workplace
For the first time in U.S. history, we have four different generations working together in the workplace. Each of these generations share different historical events and have different values. They each bring different perspectives to the workplace that affect how they communicate and problem solve, what they value in a job, and how they stay motivated. Generational differences can also affect recruiting, building teams, dealing with change, and productivity. To work effectively together, it is essential to be aware of and understand cultural differences.
Our "Generations in the Workplace" training can help your organization or business uncover challenges with supervising, dealing with clientele, or working for managers from different generations and develop the necessary skills to work effectively across these differences.
