Financial Literacy
The program provides financial literacy classes and equips refugees with financial education to help them be financially responsible and achieving financial self-sufficiency. Training content includes but is not limited to:
- Bank and bank services
- Checking and saving accounts
- Credit card services
- Credit score and credit history
- Retirement plans
- Taxes and Tax returns
Micro Enterprise Development (MED)
The Micro Enterprise Development services include:
- Business loans for start up, stabilization, and growth
- Pre and post loan technical assistance
- Business plans, start up, and business management training
Individual Development Account (IDA)
The IDA program is an asset building program implemented through a matching fund. It is designed to familiarize refugees with the U.S. financial system and asset ownership that include:
- Home ownership
- Small business establishment
- Short term vocational training or recertification
