Supporting Immigrant and Refugee Families: Immigrant Integration (SIRFI)

The Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning is the Coordinating Agency for the SIRFI: Immigrant Integration project which is an initiative of The Colorado Trust. The initiative is a 10-year (2000-2010), $18 million effort. Current funding supports 19 Colorado communities (10 communities began receiving support in 2004; an additional nine communities received grants in 2006) in their efforts to support immigrants and established residents in working together for healthy communities.

SIRFI Initiative brochure: available in both English and Spanish this brochure briefly outlines the history and current status of immigrants in the U.S. and in Colorado, and gives an overview of The Colorado Trust's Immigrant Integration Initiative underway in 19 Colorado Communities.
